Combine the true significance of the millennium, a compelling image with connotations to Madonna and child then juxtapose this with a commercial Christmas image and you have an exceptionally powerful campaign.
The Christmas campaign consisted of TV, direct mail, community press, posters, billboards and church based activity.
SALVOS RED SHIELD
After a poor door knock result due to dreadful weather, we were briefed to produce a newspaper insert to try and improve the overall result.
Not being involved in the campaign, we simply created a stand alone concept - "Did you miss the Salvos?"

The campaign was completed and printed in just 3 days.
Due to the insert, the Doorknock Appeal successfully reached its target.
The Salvation Army had a significant involvement in Federation,their Limelight Film Unit made the news real footage of the Sydney event using the world's first multi camera coverage.
A formal commitment of assistance to the poor of Australia was made to the new government.
We suggested that this be reaffirmed on Australia Day. A leaflet was produced and sent to the entire Salvos database.
It was so well received we adapted it for special events in 2001 such as ANZAC Day.
For over 5 years Paul Clarke Creative worked on the "My Journey" resources book for Breast Cancer Network Australia.
We also had the privilege of designing and producing this corporate brochure.
