Fresh and clean graphics packaging to stand out in any retail display.
Flexibility to suit any display situation, hang-sell or in-box merchandise.
We kept the look bright, uncluttered and fresh.
Brushes are predominantly displayed on peg boards. The top and tail presentation can offer retailers considerable space savings without looking crowded.
The packaging also suits counter stands and floor merchandising displays with promotional headers.
Contents: eight LED lamps
Client did not want a cardboard box
All lamps must be visible
Base type must be clearly visible
Able to stand upright
Conform to Click branding
Pack must be impact resistant
Hard to open - theft proof in store
Reusable for storage
We designed and developed a custom clam shell that:
showed all 8 LEDs
had a carry handle
displayed standing upright
was robust with high protection from
and enhanced the Click branding.
The innovative pack opens with the LEDs clipped in place and clips shut to store any unused lamps.
Our China based client reported that the lamps were easy to pack so production costs were kept to budget.
A retail ready merchandiser was designed for both shelved and aisle display.
Sometimes it's what is inside the box that counts.
Again, the client asked for a strong pack that showcased the lamp.
We responded with an exceptionally robust box made out of light card.
The card insert holds a formed blister, takes seconds to put the lamp in then slides into the 3D window.
Once the insert is in place it quadruples the strength in every direction. It cannot be twisted nor crumpled.
THE BLUE MOON
Nelson represents seven years of brand development and enhancement covering over a thousand products.
With predominantly white products, the blue moon forms the backdrop for most of the Nelson range. By placing a clean image over the moon, the product always looks clean and bright.
The Outdoor Lifestyle products were given a more aspirational feel with background images. The left hand image shows an earlier version, before the look was simplified.
PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES
HPM have a rigid design grid for packaging. It was not ideal for the competitive lifestyle market.
Riding on our success with the Nelson brand, we were asked to take the template to a new level. We respected the hierarchy but added dynamic imagery along with clear, simple benefits.
THE BIRTH OF
In 1984 Paul Clarke was asked to produce a label that would sit comfortably amongst iconic French labels. Simple and classic it fulfilled its brief. Coleraine became one of the first great New Zealand wines.
It is an honour that this 2010 label (on right) has stood the test of time and, although tastefully revised by other designers, still has the look and feel of the original.

A FRESH NEW LOOK
In the 1980s Glenvale Vineyards was a tired, low end winery, better known for its fortified wines. The labels for the Esk Valley range of wines allowed Glenvale to enter the table wine market.
The labels won an award for design.
